South Devon Hotel of the Year 2012

The Lincombe Hall Hotel was taken over by Brett and Joanne Powis back in 2009. Since 2009 the hotel has been completely refurbished, including 44 bedrooms, bathrooms, restaurant, lounges, as well as both of the swimming pools, we have also converted two apartments along with extensive maintenance.

The Lincombe Hall Hotel is a three star hotel in South Devon that offers exceptional service, this includes all the quality that you would expect from a boutique hotel, our guests can benefit from our extensive facilities, as well as enjoying the excellent service that we provide.

On accepting the award Mr Powis said:

"We are completely chuffed. Really pleased.

"All the effort that we have put into it has been worth it.

"Our secret, I think, is we looked at the hotel with fresh eyes. We have great staff who all work extremely hard, we have a great team now," said Mr Powis.

"It is really great news and excellent to share with them."

Mrs Powis said: "This summer has been unbelievable considering the weather.

"Better than last year, hugely better, and this award has capped it all off. It is so, so great. The family will be delighted."..
