Our spa vision is all about sensory indulgence. This isn’t a detox retreat. It’s a luxury destination spa where you will be pampered and feel on top of the world.
We partnered with local interior designers Ashton House Design, who designed every aspect of the spa. The brief was to create an aesthetic that amounted to an ambience, and which reflected the essence of indulgence.
Every detail is finished to the highest standard. It’s effortlessly Instagrammable, ready made for snapping selfies with a cocktail or an Aperol Spritz.
The Third Best Spa in the South West of England
Since we first opened in 2019 it's been a whirlwind. The Spa received its 5 Bubble Spa rating from the Good Spa Guide in 2020 and is quickly garnering critical acclaim.
We won Best Spa in Devon the Visit Devon 2021 awards, alongside Best Large Hotel too (making us the ultimate place for a luxury Devon spa break).
We then beat stiff competition across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset to scoop Third prize for Spa and Wellbeing Experience of the Year.

Take a Look at the Treatment Rooms
The treatment takes place in one of our five Treatment Rooms (a couple’s treatment room is also available).
As you descend to the treatment floor calming essential oils scent the air. Stepping inside your treatment room, you are met with wonderous textured green wallpaper, threaded with shimmering gold. The room is softly lit with atmospheric mood lighting, and there are details like local stone sinks and Himalayan salt candles.
Champagne and Truffles Deluxe Treatment
Our signature treatment really is the crème de la crème of facials. At £135 per person, our Champagne and Truffles Facial is our top-end treatment.
It’s certainly on the pricier side - we have many treatments under the £100 mark - but even if you are a seasoned spa-goer, we are willing to presume that these 90 minutes will among the most blissful of your life.
Your 90 minutes begin with a heavenly hot stone massage, followed by a facial that involves two masks, including a glycolic peel, being applied to your face, arms, hands and scalp. You will be enveloped with wonderfully spiced luxury Temple Spa products, from their anti-aging Truffles collection.
To end the pampering, you will be guided to the relaxation lounge (or the poolside loungers if you prefer).
Put your feet up while we serve you a glass of chilled Prosecco and some decadent chocolate truffles. Total bliss.
